Pelatihan Menulis dan Jurnalistik tahun 2020 diikuti oleh seluruh santri dan santriwati kelas 4 dan 3 Intensif Pondok Pesantren Mawaridussalam. Kegiatan yang digelar di gedung serba guna tersebut dimulai pada pukul 09.00 WIB dengan pembukan oleh bapak Pimpinan Pondok Pesantren Mawaridussalam Drs. KH. Syahid Marqum, MM. Beliau menyampaikan betapa pentingnya menulis bagi santri/wati.
Ust. H. Abdul Wahid,Lc., MM, Ush. Tri Lestari dan Ust. Usman Harahap, Lc., M.Ag adalah tiga orang guru di Pondok Pesantren Mawaridussalam yang menjadi pemateri. Ust. H. Abdul Wahid,Lc., MM menyampaikan materi yang berjudul Pengenalan dan Motivasi Menulis. Ush. Tri Lestari membawakan materi yang berjudul Kiat-Kiat Menulis sedang Ust. Usman Harahap, Lc., M.Ag menyampaikan materi Menulis Berita.
Seluruh peserta tampak antusias mengikuti kegiatan jurnalistik pertama di Pondok Pesantren Mawaridussalam yang prakarsai oleh Bagian Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Litbang). Mudah-mudahan akan lahir penulis-penulis hebat dari Pondok Pesantren Mawaridussalam.
